The University of Adelaide and Science of Sport hosted 125 Australian students to launch the Adelaide Bite STEMball program in Adelaide, Australia. The Bite have since created a one-day program for middle school students, which entails eight different STEM lessons themed around Australian baseball.
In collaboration with the University of Arizona College of Engineering and the Arizona Department of Education, the Diamondbacks Science of Baseball program has spread throughout the state of Arizona. In 2014, the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation provided funding to train an additional 100 teachers and further develop the math and science curriculum to expand the reach into 5th-8th grades.
