The Dynamo & Dash Charities Kickstart STEM Program, presented by ConocoPhillips, provides students with an innovative way to strengthen their academic performance through the sport they love—soccer. The program uses students’ passion for soccer as a gateway to developing an appreciation, understanding, and enthusiasm for the science and mathematics that underpin the sport. By connecting core STEM concepts to students’ athletic strengths, abilities, and interests, the program seeks to engage and empower students who may be struggling academically. Through hands-on, soccer-based learning experiences, students can discover how STEM concepts apply both on and off the field, helping them build confidence, overcome academic challenges, and recognize their potential for future success.
